About the event
On September 11th, we'll be putting on Danny DeVito's most underrated directorial effort Death to Smoochy (2002) at Archive! Expect the weird and the wonderful as we prepare Archive for the worst birthday party of all time...
Kids' show host, Rainbow Randolph (Robin Williams), is fired in disgrace while his replacement, Sheldon Mopes (Edward Norton), A.K.A. Smoochy the Rhino, finds himself a rising star. Unfortunately for Sheldon, the business of kids' television isn't all child's play. As Randolph does his utmost to get Smoochy cancelled, Mopes battles with the constant attacks on his image and his sanity.
The usual Rat Depot goodies will be on offer, including event exclusive artwork, souvenir tickets, sweeties, a themed raffle, weird shit, and more!
