About the event
On April 17th at Archive, we'll be showing Takeshi Koike's animated cult hit, Redline (2009), a visually stunning action packed adventure centred around intergalactic death racing.
Painstakingly crafted from over 100,000 hand drawn frames and constructed over the course of seven years, Koike's Redline is one of the most visually overwhelming films ever made, and an essential film for appreciating the sheer excellence of Japanese animation. To celebrate such a banger, we'll be playing Mario Kart 8 on the big screen before the screening, so arrive early! And don't pick Toad. We've already picked Toad.
